Details
The proposed Muldoon Street segment 80 Taree project will provide improved road safety and drive quality of the existing road for all road users. This will be Lump sum type contract.

1. Asphalt road construction including base course & wearing course 230mm thick

2. Stormwater drainage pipes & pits construction

Background information / Compatibility requirements
Details
The existing pavement has been deemed to be in condition 4 (Poor). There are extensive failures present throughout the segment, particularly adjacent to railway corridor. There is substantial edge break & scouring of the earth drain on northern side. Stormwater flows are currently reliant on gutter flow and the open earth drain. This project is a continuation of the upgrading of Muldoon Street as main access road to industrial/commercial district. Muldoon St is a designated B-double route.

As per SD0104 Section-Kerb & Gutter (SS installed after kerb & gutter installation) 200mm off back of existing Kerbs or Typical cross sections Plan No.RP2048 Sheet 02 following lip of gutter

Hi Brian,

Subsoil construction please follow Typical Cross sections as per Sheet 02 of Plan RP2048 Design drawings. Sub soil drainage stay to be in front of Kerb gutter as marked in Design drawing Sheet 02.
