Metro South Health are seeking market proposals for the replacement of Major Medical Equipment within the Princess Alexandra Hospital's Vascular Hybrid Operating Theatre Fluoroscopic system & Electrophysiology Cardiology Fluoroscopic system.

Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is a tertiary health care centre, providing care in all major adulting specialties, with the exception of obstetrics. PAH is one of Australia’s leading academic and research health centres. Services Provided:

• Acute Medical

• Surgical

• Mental Health

• Cancer

• Rehabilitation

• Allied Health services

PAH is nationally recognised for expertise in trauma management and are a major transplantation centre for livers, kidneys, bone, cartilage, and corneas. PAH is investing over $350 million to upgrade our buildings and increase out health services, the upgrades include:

• New inpatient beds

• Extensions and renovations to existing buildings

• New cancer and kidney disease treatment services

The upgrades will make it easier for our community to access health service and provide more specialist and emergency care. Work on some of these upgrades has already started, with some expanded services opening in 2024
