Details
Queensland Liver Transplant Services (QLTS) at Princess Alexandra Hospital (PAH) is the sole liver transplant centre in Queensland and one of five in Australia. Annually, QLTS performs approximately 45-55 liver transplantations.

PAH is a quaternary-level hospital with a comprehensive and integrated liver transplantation program. This program is supported by a highly skilled multidisciplinary team, including liver transplant surgeons, hepatologists, perfusionists, specialised nursing staff, anaesthesiologists, intensive care specialists, and exceptional ward-based clinicians.

PAH is seeking information regarding TGA approved devices that meet or exceed the following objectives and desired outcomes:

Objectives:

• Facilitate both Hypothermic Oxygenated Perfusion (HOPE) and Normothermic Machine Perfusion (NMP)

• Assess organ viability

• Maintain organ viability

• Reduce the incidence of Ischemia-Reperfusion Injury (IC)

• Enable research and development

• Increase organ utilization

• Improve clinical outcomes
